Chłodzenie zapakowane zostało w standardowy dla Deepcoola karton. Wraz z nim otrzymujemy instrukcję, zestaw montażowy, tubkę pasty, hub 4 pin oraz hub RGB. Pierwszy z hubów pozwala na podłączenie do 5 wentylatorów do jednego złącza 4 pin na płycie. Drugi umożliwia podłączenie całego RGB do płyty głównej. Pamiętajcie jednak, że Deepcool zdecydował się na 5V RGB. Obsługuje go większość płyta, ale przed zakupem należy to sprawdzić. Poza tym sam montaż jest jednym z najłatwiejszych wśród AiO.

Das wissen die Hersteller meist besser als ein Tester und würde man es richtig machen wollen, müsste man mit mindestens zwei Referenzen arbeiten, nämlich einmal mit viel statischem Druck und einmal mit viel Durchsatz. Ich muss sagen, mir gefiel dieses Model schlichtweg auf Bildern direkt optisch ganz ausgezeichnet und was nach meinen Recherchen im Netz ein weiterer Kaufgrund für mich war ist die bei diesem Model erstmalig vom Hersteller eingesetzte und patentierte "Anti-Leak-Technologie", welche einen Druckausgleich im Radiator schafft und somit ein Auslaufen der Kühlflüssigkeit gänzlich verhindern soll.

J’ai apprécié le nombre élevé de possibilités de connection, le rendant compatible avec quasi tout type de build, ce qui pour moi est un grand plus. Le fait d’avoir prévu une télécommande pour gérer le RGB sans disposer d’un port dédié est une idée qui mérite d’être saluée également.

The Captian 240PRO is a product series that I like. It's a good performing kit, and for the money, you get quite a bit of it. First off, it's simply a cool looking product with the tubing bypass on the colling block (which really is a working bypass btw). PErformance is good, albeit tweaked the fan RPM went up pretty fast. This is easily adjusted by assigning a max RPM to the fans at a noise level you are comfortable with. The looks are great and the RGB (addressable) system is impressive. DeepCool delivers everything you need to get going including a very good RGB controller with lots of colors and animation.

Overall I was pretty impressed with Deepcool’s Gamer Storm Castle 240. Cooling performance isn’t class leading but it does a good job by both cooling the CPU and keeping noise in check, even under heavy load.
Aesthetically I would say it’s hard to beat, it is certainly one of the better-looking coolers I have seen to date, and the lighting effects available with just the included controller are some of the best I have seen.

Deepcool has released many innovative and good looking products over the years (with their tri/quad-stellar cases sitting at the top) and although the Baronkase Liquid could had been a lot better still it fits nicely in their current product line. Un peu d'innovation ne gâche rien, surtout dans le domaine du boîtier. Ce Baronkase Liquid est très intéressant du fait des accessoires qui l'équipent, un dissipateur processeur watercooling, du RGB et un panneau en verre trempé.
Ce boîtier au format micro-ATX se destine à des cartes mères de ce format mais il est possible d'installer une carte au format ATX, l'alimentation se retrouve en haut de façade, dans ce cas la montage est un peu plus complexe et selon la profondeur du bloc les emplacements ventilateurs à l'avant sont condamnés.

Le choix d’un AIO par rapport à un autre est certes déterminé par les performances tant au niveau refroidissement que sonore, mais de plus en plus le coté esthétique prend de l’importance.
Cela se joue sur le design de la pompe qui reste l’élément le plus visible d’un AIO, contrairement au radiateur généralement dissimulé dans le haut du boitier, et bien sûr la “petite” touche d’éclairage qui tout en englobant le haut de la pompe peut aussi s’étendre à la ventilation.

At teste denne AIO køler fra Deepcool har udelukkende været en stor fornøjelse. Den har hvis vi går helt ned til det basale har opfyldt de 2 kriterier som nok de fleste brugere, af en AIO køler er interesseret, i nemlig at køleren/pumpen er støjsvag, og at den kan holde ens CPU på en rimelig kold temperatur, selv under OC og stresstest. Jeg må indrømme at denne Deepcool Castle 240RGB lever fuldt ud op til kravene. Nu har jeg selvfølgelig kun testet den kortvarigt, men jeg var imponeret over både temperaturer og manglen på støj fra Pumpen og blæserne. Så alt i alt vil jeg uden tøven varmt anbefale denne AIO fra Deepcool.

Det er ting som en magnetiske montering af glaspanelerne, som er super lækker at arbejde med, og så til en lille detalje, som samtlige skruer til kabinettet kommer med en lille gummikant monteret så man minimerer ridser og vibrationer og at man får en stor musemåtte med til kabinettet også.

De asemenea, apreciez și prezența bundle-ului bogat de accesorii, cu multe adaptoare și prelungitoare . Nu-mi place însă telecomanda. Ar fi fost mult mai utilă una externă, fără fir. E cam neplăcut să fii nevoit să deschizi carcasa de fiecare dată când dorești să ajustezi iluminarea. Totuși, dacă ai o placă de bază cu header RGB, acest inconvenient nu ar trebui să te deranjeze.

At teste denne AIO køler fra Deepcool har udelukkende været en stor fornøjelse. Den har hvis vi går helt ned til det basale har opfyldt de 2 kriterier som nok de fleste brugere, af en AIO køler er interesseret, i nemlig at køleren/pumpen er støjsvag, og at den kan holde ens CPU på en rimelig kold temperatur, selv under OC og stresstest. Jeg må indrømme at denne Deepcool Castle 240RGB lever fuldt ud op til kravene. Nu har jeg selvfølgelig kun testet den kortvarigt, men jeg var imponeret over både temperaturer og manglen på støj fra Pumpen og blæserne. Så alt i alt vil jeg uden tøven varmt anbefale denne AIO fra Deepcool.

Chłodzenie, dzięki podświetleniu i nietypowym bloku, wyróżnia się na pewno na tle konkurencji. Małym minusem jest konieczność podłączania sporej ilości kabli, ale wystarczy to raz ogarnąć i po kłopocie. Sam montaż i jakość wykonania oceniam bardzo dobrze. AiO jest bardzo wydajne, w szczególności na maskymalnych obrotach wentylatorów, jednakże okupione jest to słabą kulturą pracy. Dopiero na około 900 RPM jest w miarę cicho. Właśnie z tego powodu oceniam chłodzenie jako dobre, ale niekoniecznie jako pierwszy wybór za kwotę powyżej 500 zł.

Deepcool Gamerstorm New Ark 90 este o carcasă ideală pentru configurații high-end. Arată spectaculos și aduce un design interior foarte bine pus la punct, cu spațiu generos pentru placă video, sursă și unități de stocare, permițând în același timp și un wire management de excepție. Sistemul de răcire pe lichid își face treaba excelent și concurează de la egal la egal cu ceilalți grei ai industriei, oferind temperaturi joase, dar și o optimizare facilă a nivelului de zgomot prin ventilatoarele PWM preinstalate. E de apreciat și că ni se permite montarea plăcii video pe verticală, însă nu-mi place că riser-ul dedicat nu este inclus în pachet. Pe lista neajunsurilor aș include și airflow-ul. Având un set de fante de aerisire relativ înguste în față și în tavan, este evident că airflow-ul nu va fi unul prea grozav. Ar fi fost drăguț să avem și un port USB Type-C, dar și posibilitatea conectării sistemului de iluminare la header-ul RGB al plăcii de bază. În ciuda acestor mici dezavantaje, Deepcool Gamerstorm New Ark 90 rămâne o carcasă atractivă pentru utilizatorii ce caută un raport cât mai bun între aspect și funcționalitate.

El cuanto al RGB sin duda es mas simple que el que ofrecen otras soluciones, pero a veces las cosas simples merecen la pena. Me gusta la potencia de color, cierto es que le falta capacidad de configuración, pero cuando ponemos el color que nos apetece ese día, y el efecto de respiración y no hemos tenido que hacer un máster en “Addressable RGB” entonces la cosa se plantea más como una ventaja que un inconveniente.

La primera palabra que me sale al evaluar esta caja es la de regularidad. Es totalmente regular en todos los aspectos, no defraudando en ninguno de ellos. Estoy convencido de que en el aspecto individual encontraremos cajas mejor diseñadas, construida con mejores materiales y podremos obtener refrigeraciones líquidas, si no mejores, tan buenas como la Captain 280 EX pero ¿Podríamos montar un sistema como el que Deepcool nos ofrece por menos de 300 €? DeepCool è riuscita a realizzare nuovamente un prodotto ottimo, e francamente non ci aspettavamo diversamente. L’azienda ci aveva infatti deliziato fino ad ora di componenti di fascia veramente elevata, se pur non sempre propriamente economici. Al contrario questo case si inserisce in una fascia di prezzo adeguata, se considerando che a punto il solo dissipatore costa circa 100€. Dunque possiamo considerare il prezzo di 175€ veramente competitivo, e lo spingerci a considerare un best buy questo case, non significherebbe esagerare.

Jak już wspomniałem, na przodzie znajduje się panel z hartowanego szkła. Pod nim możecie zobaczyć miejsce na trzy śmigła 120 mm oraz miejsce na trzy dyski 2,5/ 3,5 cala. Tak, dyski mocuje się w specjalnych koszykach, które wyjmowane są z przodu obudowy.Deepcool na boku umieścił także trzy przyciski służące do sterowania podświetleniem. Można zmienić kolor, tryb pracy, szybkość zmiany kolorów czy wyłączyć podświetlenie, co umożliwia szybkie dopasowanie kolorystyki do aktualnych wymagań.

Como dijimos al inicio, la DeepCool QuadStellar no deja a nadie indiferente, pues entre sus amplias dimensiones y su peculiar diseño, llama la atención de cualquier mirada que se le acerque. Si bien seccionar los componentes en 4 módulos es un recurso mucho más estético que funcional, es cierto que ello ayuda a la refrigeración de los mismos al separarlos y colocarles un ventilador de 120 mm a cada uno. Admite un radiador de hasta 360 mm tras el frontal, por lo que el no admitir un disipador de más de 110 mm tampoco será una pega que le tengamos muy en cuenta. Además, permite la instalación de hasta 3 gráficas de doble slot en uno de los módulos, incluyendo un cable riser, pero la placa base sigue pudiendo contener tantas tarjetas de expansión como puertos tenga.

I feel the case has been very well designed. The overall aesthetic is very clean and tidy with the full steel construction with the matt black paint job. I also appreciated the addition of the flowmeter along with the RGB goodies on the included fan and pump. Another good addition is the removable plate that allows you to install longer graphics cards.
At £120 at the time of review, I think that the GamerStorm Baronkase Liquid is great value for money especially considering that Deepcool’s Captain 120EX is bundled and already installed to take care of CPU cooling.

Najważniejsze jest to, że musicie chcieć mieć bajer w postaci wbudowanego chłodzenia cieczą. Nie prezentuje ono wysokiej wydajności ani znakomitej kultury pracy pod obciążeniem, za to wygląda znakomicie – podświetlenie pompki, wentylatora oraz rezerwuaru robi swoje. Także sam wskaźnik przepływu cieczy jest fajnym dodatkiem. Восхитительно – таков вердикт про DeepCool MF120. Всё классно прямо со старта: шикарный комплект, сделаны очень качественно, всё модульное. Чего только стоит подключение вентиляторов к блоку через micro-USB. Ну и конечно никак нельзя промолчать о том, насколько они классно выглядят. Весьма немаловажный фактор между прочим.Вентиляторы помимо внешнего вида должны выполнять свою прямую функцию – прокачивать воздушные массы. В плане количества этих масс вопросов особо нет. Около 95 кубов воздуха в час – результат чуть выше среднего как для 120 мм «карлсона», а скорость вращения при этом аж порядка 2200 об/мин. Какой бы не был подшипник и геометрия крыльчатки, 2200 об/мин – очень много. Соответственно, много шума. Как бы 38 дБА это вам не как котику сметанка. Они шумные, учитывайте это. Можно снизить скорость вращения до более-менее приемлемого уровня в 25-28 дБА, и сразу от производительности отсекаем 30%.

Anche se di tipologia Middle-Tower, è possibile realizzare configurazioni performanti multi-GPU senza particolari problemi, grazie alla possibilità di adottare schede video lunghe fino a 340 mm semplicemente scollegando un piccolo sportellino.
Il sistema di raffreddamento interno, nella sua configurazione "base", risulta nel compresso sufficiente a smaltire dignitosamente il calore, questo grazie alla presenza di una ventola aggiuntiva da 120 mm e al sistema AiO integrato con radiatore da 120 mm. Ricordiamo che è possibile installare inoltre dissipatori ad aria per CPU alti fino ad un massimo di 168 mm. Ricordiamo inoltre che è possibile installare radiatori fino a 280 mm sul top del cabinet, cosa che troveranno decisamente utile per gli utenti più smaliziati e alla ricerca delle massime prestazioni dal loro sistema.

We have tested the fans on the Alphacool Eisbaer 360 to check for their thermal performance and they performed outstanding which is surprising and took us to repeat the tests multiple times to verify the results. Hats off to the Deepcool’s design team on that aspect. Performance to noise ratio on the Powerful fan curve profile is not healthy as our sound meter was reporting the sound level to be 43 dBA but for the Regular and Silent profiles, it was more than adequate. Even on the Silenty profile, the thermal performance, and the sound level were good enough to drive your cooling need at silent level. The 3 fans pack is rated at $109.99 at the time of the review and given the total package and the performance level this is worth your bucks. We are thankful to the Deepcool for giving us the opportunity to review their MF120 Aluminum Frameless Smart RGB Case Fan set.

La DeepCool GamerStorm New Ark 90 es una de las cajas más originales del mercado gracias a exponer el deposito de su refrigeración líquida integrada tanto en la tapa frontal como en la superior, un aspecto que le da un toque único frente a un mercado plagado de modelos que tienden a parecerse mucho entre sí. Que un chasis venga con un sistema TEU de refrigeración líquida ya incorporado tampoco es algo convencional, aunque nos limita a la opción elegida por el fabricante, que en este caso es bastante apropiada con su radiador de 280 mm y una base con diseño realmente atractivo.
Pero debemos destacar además que el chasis permite la instalación de una placa base E-ATX junto a gráficas de hasta 310 mm en horizontal o 400 mm en vertical, aunque no incluye el correspondiente cable riser para conectarla. Si que incluye 4 ventiladores con iluminación LED RGB, la cual también ilumina el deposito y es controlable en color y modo desde el exterior del chasis. Ofrece además espacio para colocar hasta 3 ventiladores frontales y otros 3 ventiladores superiores, así como para 3 unidades de 3.5/2.5 pulgadas y otras 3 unidades de 2.5 pulgadas. Sumando el carenado de la fuente de alimentación y el buen espacio trasero para organizar el cableado, poco o nada más se le puede pedir.

Mit dem BARONKASE LIQUID hat DeepCool unter seiner Gamingmarke GamerStorm ein Gehäuse in seinem Sortiment, bei dem man sich aufgrund der vorinstallierten All-in-One-Wasserkühlung keine Gedanken über einen passenden Kühler machen muss. Die verbaute Wasserkühlung sorgt jedoch nicht nur für eine ausreichende Kühlleistung, sondern auch noch für eine schicke Optik, welche dank der verbauten Echtglasseitenwand gut zur Geltung kommt. Was die Verarbeitung des Gehäuses angeht, mussten wir leider feststellen, dass nicht nur alle Schrauben überaus fest saßen, sondern auch die verbauten Festplattenrahmen ließen sich nach dem Lösen der Schrauben nur mit einem sehr hohen Kraftaufwand herausnehmen. Sieht man einmal von diesen Mängeln ab, so wurde das Gehäuse sowie auch die verbaute Wasserkühlung gut verarbeitet. The Deepcool Quadstellar is an extraordinary case that has a unique shape. It is a puzzle why anyone would want a case this large or how they might fill even half the space with hardware; however that is a secondary matter. The bigger concern is where you would locate the case as it requires a significant amount of space, along with a table that is good and sturdy.There is surely only one reason why any case would have 14 expansion slots or eight drive caddies and that is to do something with all that space. In other words it seems that Deepcool started with an unusual structure for the Quadstellar and then found ways to use all that space by delivering a list of features that is as long as your arm.
In a way we quite like that as the Quadstellar is clearly crazy bonkers but it looks great and we like it a great deal. Yes, the price is very high but we expect that and do not really mind. In fact our single biggest complaint is more of an observation that Quadstellar is big, heavy and deeply impractical.

The biggest effect of AiO's performance is definitely seen after a 1.45V high-voltage overclocking on the processor where the water block can greatly improve the lead just above the air coolers. So if you're planning a Ryzen processor and you want to clock, I'd definitely recommend this DeepCool AIO water cooler. For Czech customers, it is certainly a pity that this model is not usually available in our country and you may need to buy it from abroad (which is of course not a big deal). Not that the Czech market did not offer enough, but the design variability of the usual offer of AiO is not so big and this model would improve it a bit. Especially when there is an unusual white version in addition to the tested black variant.

Concluding; while slightly subjective, you probably can read through the lines that I am really digging the Quad Stellar and hey, like it or not, you have to give DeepCool credit for designing something so unique. It comes with a few quirks, might not be the most silent one or best airflow performing one, but these key points are all more than adequate enough. The design, the compartments and that separated graphics card compartment, really make up for some of that smaller stuff. Considering the performance on offer, the competition, such as the Fractal Design Celsius S24, offers similar performance with far less noise. If RGBs are of utmost importance, the Aerocool P7-L240 is again offering similar performance at lower noise with RGB LEDs. The inline RGB controller is workable, but looking at remotes on other units, such as the LEPA NEOllusion and Raijintek Orcus 240, there are better solutions for motherboards that lack RGB syncing capabilities. Simply put, if you want a specific color, there's no problem, but if you like to change it regularly and your motherboard lacks RGB sync, you are going to need to open up that case to change the color of the LEDs.

GAMER STORM, a dirla tutta, non è il primo marchio a presentare un case con predisposizione frontale per l'alimentatore ma, a differenza degli altri, la sua soluzione, completa di sistema di raffreddamento a liquido di ottima qualità, è, nel complesso, la più economica. A nostro avviso, la possibilità di montare l'alimentatore sul fondo poteva essere tranquillamente accantonata così da lasciar spazio ad una scheda madre ATX sfruttabile al 100%, perché è proprio con tale formato che si riesce, con non poca difficoltà, ad ottenere il massimo da un telaio così compatto. L'acciaio utilizzato, così come il vetro temperato, è di ottima qualità e lavorato ad hoc per garantire robustezza e, nel contempo, contenere il peso della propria configurazione che, tramite l'apposita maniglia, potrà tranquillamente essere portata ad un LAN Party dove catturerebbe, senza ombra di dubbio, l'attenzione di molti appassionati. The new Deepcool Captain 240EX RGB provides significant upgrades from the non-EX Captain 240 original. While some of these are cosmetic such as the RGB LED capabilty, a lot of it is functional as well. The pump, the tubing and the fans are all upgraded to provide superior performance over the original. The new TF 120 fans are also much quieter and operate at a much lower RPM than the GF 120 fans used in the original Captain 240. Although it is still noticeably loud as is typical of an AIO fan at 1800 RPM, it’s noise level drops significantly when operating at 1500 RPM or lower. Just the noise level drop from 1800 to 1600 RPM is significant enough to warrant notice as well.

Интеграция СВО в удачный корпус — очень удачный ход. При оценке Deepcool Dukase Liquid нельзя забывать, что это кейс средних размеров для продвинутых, но не топовых игровых компьютеров. Глупо предъявлять претензии к трем отсекам для HDD или к несовместимости с платами XL-ATX. Из просчетов в глаза бросается разве что неудобный способ крепления блока питания, из-за чего очень мощные БП оказывают в пролете. Этот инженерный нюанс можно было бы легко пофиксить, ведь речь не идет о серьезных переделках корпуса.

Так, например, Cooler Master MasterLiquid Pro 240 стоит как минимум в 1,5 раза дороже, но при этом не может похвастаться такой же эффективностью, существенно проигрывая обновленному «Капитану». Its 360mm radaitor AIO coolers - the Captain 360 and Captain 360 EX retail for around £110 and decent PCI-E riser cables can cost upwards of £30. Throw in a 4-port fan hub and custom reservoir, and you're looking at a total equivalent to at least £170 or so. For starters, the aesthetic appeal I’ve seen online totally lived up to the reputation in person. This is easily my favorite design, possibly ever. In fact, I’d love to see some custom loop CPU blocks use this design somehow for the heck of it. The only metric I couldn’t totally gauge from websites was the performance.

Pokud by tedy skříň měla v základu dva osazené ventilátory a jinou než modrou barvu podsvícení tlačítek, odnesla by si určitě 90% hodnocení. Takto musím bohužel o 2 procenta z celkového hodnocení ubrat :). I tak si skříň odnáší velmi nadprůměrných 88% a v dané cenové hladině (cca 1500 korun vč. DPH) je opravdu povedeným modelem s velmi dobrým poměrem cena-výkon.

The latest effort, the 240X, tweaks and improves both the cooling performance and the acoustics to kick things up a few gears, and it has certainly worked. There is very little to dislike about the basic layout as the power supply cover, two 3.5-inch drive caddies and four 2.5-inch bays all fit the bill. Added to that the cooling system has been neatly installed and you have plenty of space to install your hardware.

L'étonnant Genome nous laisse un bon sentiment. Malgré quelques petits détails de conception que nous ne trouvons pas dignes d'un modèle de cette gamme, il sait nous proposer d'autres atouts pour nous faire oublier ses travers. En premier lieu, la facilité de mise en oeuvre qui, malgré l'absence de tout système qui pourrait la simplifier encore plus, se fait très rapidement. Vient ensuite la présence de l'excellent kit de watercooling, modifié pour l'occasion, offrant plusieurs lumières éparpillées et un réservoir en façade. Le look ensuite, très moderne, n'est pas désagréable. N'attendez pas de ce boîtier qu'il soit discret, avec toutes les lumières c'est raté. Si l'équipement est correct, il aurait pu être renforcé par l'ajout d'un second ventilateur pour le boîtier et surtout du riser PCIe. Les performances sont très bonnes tant en termes de refroidissement du processeur que de silence de fonctionnement. Attendez-vous tout de même à un petit coup de chaud dans le compartiment du fond ou sur le GPU si comme nous il dispose d'un radiateur passif. Quant au tarif annoncé, il nous apparait un poil juste vu les prestations proposées sur le boîtier lui même. Au terme de ce dossier, nous accordons quatre étoiles au DeepCool Genome, qui en perd une à cause des quelques détails de finition qui nous rebuten.

The Genome is at the very least an intriguing chassis that DeepCool offers. It remains a fairly mid-sized chassis, you can house up-to ATX motherboard in there. That form factor however might be a little bothersome for some as a lot of motherboards in the high-end and enthusiast class these days pass standard ATX and use eATX. That said, if you stick to say a regular Z170 motherboard, the sky is the limit of course. Overall this chassis has a certain mysterious look to it, it really has terrific aesthetics if you like this kind of style.

As a first foray into the highly competitive AIO cooler market we find that the Maelstrom 120 does a pretty decent job. DeepCool has put together a nice little package with this unit. Easily one of the more intuitive installation designs on the market and really nothing to get distracted or confused with. I especially like the included fan and wouldn’t replace it with anything else although a more neutral color would have been prefered.

The heatsink itself is massive, and may cause you to move components already situated in your rig depending on what motherboard you use, but again this is to be expected to a degree when using high end CPU coolers of the Assassin’s class. Very good temperature results overall. It may not be for extreme overclockers, but in our minds this is perfect for gamers, and people who want to push their CPU’s especially Ivy Bridge chips just a bit more than its stock speed while providing a very quiet cooling solution.

As far as aesthetics are concerned, the Gamer Storm Assassin boasts quality materials, a unique color scheme, and an imposing presence that stands above a vast share of the CPU cooler market. The two included hydro bearing fans are built to last and certainly don't incite any complaint in the noise department. Unless you unplug any case fans in the immediate vicinity of the cooler, it's unlikely that you'll ever hear them working. The extra long cables and 120mm slot compatible housing of the 140mm fan make both of these air movers fine candidates as premium case fans. Those with a tall set of DIMMs may run into some clearance issues with the front 120mm fan. However, this clash can be quickly corrected by relocating the fan to the aft end of the heatsink. Installation is a hassle free experience thanks to Deepcool's smart approach to retention bracket design and the inclusion of rubber clips to keep evasive fasteners in check.

When it comes to the Deepcool Assassin cooler, we have to say it is one of the better coolers we have tested this year. Ranging in the top half of thermal results, we loved how well it performed with our overclocked i7 processor with added voltage. One particular advantage it has over the Silverstone HE01 cooler that we compared it to earlier in the review is its noise level. Flipping the switch on the HE01 to ‘Performance’ made for a significant increase in noise we observed. With the Deepcool Assassin running at full speed, we did hear it moreover the GPU fans but it was no contest, the Assassin was simply quieter.

In our labs the ASSASSIN proved to be the most efficient air-cooled heatsink we have tested and it even came close to performing at the same level as high-end AiO water coolers with a 240mm radiator. In the performance arena of the Assassin, we feel this cooler did a great job keeping our i5 3570k and AMD FX 8120 cool. With the new Intel architecture for Ivy-Bridge we have seen many reports of high idle and load temps. However with the Deepcool Gamer Storm Assassin it performed quite well even with our overclock settings on higher then normal voltages. For our AMD platform we were quite surprised at its performance, as we have not seen may air coolers able to stay under 52c under OC settings. The Assassin performed very closely to our custom waco set-up. This is fantastic considering the cost of water cooled set-up compared to air cooled.
